Wheels Up Experience is exploring potential strategic business partnerships and has been provided a short-term capital infusion from Delta Air Lines.
The private aviation provider said Wednesday that it has also entered a nonbinding letter of intent with Airshare to acquire Wheels Up’s non-core aircraft management business.
The New York-based company is postponing its earnings release and won’t hold an analyst call Wednesday.
Shares initially surged by more than a third before retreating. They were recently up 6.7% at $2.56 in premarket trading.
